Paul has worked many years as an electronics engineer and project coordinator in the electronics and aerospace industries, before returning to university to complete a BA (Hons) and MLitt (Hons) in psychology. Paul's MLitt thesis was carried out in collaboration with the National Rehabilitation Hospital, and involved developing virtual reality systems for use in the rehabilitation of spinal cord injury patients.
Paul continues to successfully combine this dual interest in technology and research methodology, using electronic data collection methods and media extensively in his research. Paul also works as a special educational needs course author and editor with the Institute of Child Education and Psychology Europe.
